Mayor a New Grandfather

Rachel Gordon Meyer, the daughter of Phoenix Mayor Phil Gordon, gave birth on August 14th today to a brand new son.

Mason Abbott Meyer was born at 1:55 pm this afternoon in Scottsdale, Arizona*.

The Mayor's new grandson weighed in at 7 pounds, 8 ounces and is 20 inches long.  Mason, mother Rachel, father Lucas and older brother Lucas are all doing well and, except for Mason, already bragging.

"He's absolutely beautiful" noted the Mayor.  "And 35 years from now, he can run for President."
